Dorcas Irene Miller, also known as Dorcas S. Miller, which is short for Dorcas Swartzentruber Miller, was born as Dorcas Irene Swartzentruber on 28 June 1926. She married Jacob Monroe Miller in 1946, and together the couple had 9 children and numerous grandchildren. She became a writer, a poet, a homemaker, and a businesswoman. She was the editor of the ‘Sister’s Page’ of “Brotherhood Beacon,” and she ran the ‘Bible, Book, and Gift Nook’ out of her home. Dorcas Irene Miller passed on at 86 years of age on 7 August 2012 in Greenwood, Delaware, United States of America.
