Guessing Game
Players
□ 3 or more people.
Items Needed
□ Any small objects carried on a person or found nearby that can be concealed inside a person’s closed hand.
Put your hand into your pocket, purse, or bag. Completely surround an object, closing your fingers over it. Take your closed hand out into view and say, “I am holding something in my hand. Can you guess what it is?”
The object holder may place his or her hand behind his or her back, and may give clues about what the object is or is not.
The first person who is able to guess correctly what the object is, takes the next turn with an object concealed in his or her hand.
Object of the Game
□ Why must there be a justification for every game? Not every game has to have an object or goal, or has to be organized, monitored, scrutinized, analyzed, criticized, and scored - some games and playing can be allowed to happen just because people want to have fun and foster friendships - and that’s all!
