Grammar in Rhyme
Three little words, you often see,
Are articles A, An, and The.
A Noun is the name of anything,
As School, or Garden, Hoop, or Swing.
Adjectives tell the kind of Noun,
As Great, Small, Pretty, White, or Brown.
Instead of Nouns the Pronouns stand,
Her head, His face, Your arm, My hand.
Verbs tell something being done -
To Read, Count, Laugh, Sing, Jump, or Run.
How things are done the Adverbs tell,
As Slowly, Quickly, Ill, or Well.
Conjunctions join the words together -
As men And women, wind Or weather.
The Preposition stands before
A noun, as In or Through a door,
The Interjection shows surprise,
As Oh! how pretty! Ah! how wise!
The Whole are called nine parts of speech,
Which reading, writing, speaking teach.

I stumbled across your website because I teach grammar for a homeschool co-op (and have a home-schooled kid myself), so I look at stuff...
I initially found "Grammar in Rhyme" on the Smithsonian website, but alas, the pages are oddly ordered, the author is not credited, and so I continued digging...and THIS is the page I landed on.
I noticed the player "How it Begins" by Kevin McCloud, and I quite literally felt like God is PMing me...the title is the exact feeling I have!!! I believe we NEED to be friends. I have so many ideas about homeschooling as a business opportunity, but alas, I cannot do it alone (I love teaching math, although I majored in chemistry...) The other homeschoolers I know (who I IMMENSELY respect) do not think the way I do, so instead to trying to turn it into a business, they plod along... I love them, but they don't understand my vision...
If you want to publicly post this, go ahead, but I REALLY just want to get into contact with the mastermind behind this WIP masterpiece!!!
