Golden Drewdrop - Skyflower - Pigeon Berry
Details and description of image:
Scientifically named ‘Duranta erecta,’ and also known by the names Golden Dewdrop and Pigeon Berry, the Skyflower is a tropical and subtropical flowering shrub or small tree with blue or lavender blossoms and small yellow or orange berries. A mature plant can grow to about 6 meters (about 20 feet) in height and about 6 meters (20 meters) in width. All parts of the plant, including the berries, are edible to birds, though toxic to humans and insects.
